This site contains poetry and illustrations about spirituality and life. What began as expressions of my feelings, questions and answers of life has culminated in my collection of illustrated poetry – my soul work. For whatever reason, I tend to express my deepest emotions, my soul work, in verse and art. My creations contain expressions of love and loss and truth-seeking and laughter, symbolized by the concept of "Goddess Is A Verb".
I share this personal journal because I think everybody experiences the same feelings and questions; if only in an unconscious level. My hope is that sharing my soul work will open the door to your own creative journey. I would love to hear from you; send me an email to let me know you visited or if you want to be notified when this site is updated. This site is displayed like a book, with chapters listed in the left bar which link you to the content - the poems and images.

We Continue is now a book!
I am pleased to announce the publication of my poetry entitled We Continue: Poetry and images of life, love and truth. It is available in print and eBook at Amazon, or contact me for an autographed copy. You can see the beautiful book cover and sample pages at Amazon, using their cool feature "Look Inside".
A bonus is that my book contains original paintings by Erica Eschmann. I am in the process of updating this website with Erica's work so it complements the book. You can see more of her work at her website.
Publishing my book has been number one on my goal list, so this is an exciting passage for me to share with you. I wish you all the Joy that you can wish!

Starting the job was one thing – but following through and completing – that's where the bravery is. It didn't matter if the end product was magnificent, or mediocre, or critically acclaimed. What matters is the work itself – from beginning to middle to end... There's gold for us along the way if we can open our eyes to see it. The gold is in the getting there, in the holding on, in the reaching. - Tales from the Bed: A Memoir by Jenifer Estess, Valerie Estess
